For over 20 years, Wyoming people have relied upon the quality and skill of the cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and entire cardiac team at Wyoming Medical Center for their complete cardiac care.
Annually, more than 6,000 cardiac procedures are performed at the Heart Center, including approximately 1,200 diagnostic heart catheterizations, 500 cardiac interventional procedures including angioplasty and stents, rotoblator therapy, pacemaker and defibrillator placement as well as nearly 200 open heart operations. In 2004, the Heart Center performed its 4,000th open heart surgery.
