Exercise Electrocardiogram (EKG)
An electrocardiogram is one of the simplest and fastest procedures used to evaluate the heart by placing electrodes on the chest, arms and legs. During an exercise EKG, a patient may walk on a treadmill or pedal a stationary bike to see how the heart responds to stress or exercise.
